Book of Samuel the Seer Empty Book of Samuel the Seer

The Book of Samuel the Seer is a lost text. The book is described at 1 Chronicles 29:29. The passage reads: "Now the acts of David the king, first and last, behold, they are written in the book of Samuel the seer, and in the book of Nathan the prophet, and in the book of Gad the seer." These books are often referred to as "The Lost Books".

This text is sometimes called Samuel the Seer or The Acts of Samuel the Seer.[1]

It is possible that this book, along with the Book of Nathan the Prophet and the Book of Gad the Seer, were combined into 1st and 2nd Samuel, since Samuel dies mid-way and 2nd Samuel has nothing to do with Samuel.
